RESOLUTION NO.
Accepting the Plat of Gene Harris Second Subdivision of Part of South Y2 of SW '/ of Section 1,
Township 83 North,Range 25 West of the 5"P.M.,Boone County,Iowa,and accepting the Dedication
of public right=of way.
WHEREAS,there has been submitted to the Board of Supervisors for approval a plat of the real
estate hereinafter described designated as"Gene Harris Second Subdivision of part of South%of SW
'/of Section 1,Township 83 North, Range 25 West of the 51h P.M., Boone County, Iowa", and legally
described as:
That part of the South half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 1,Township 83 North,
Range 25 West of the 5th P.M., Boone County, Iowa, more particularly described as
follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 1; thence N89035'54"E
1,099.00 feet, along the south line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence
N01040'28"W 80.02-feetto the point of beginning of this description,which point is also
on the north right-of-way line of public highway;thence N01°40'28"W 700.02 feet along
the west line of Gene Harris First Subdivision;thence N89035'54"E 175.00 feet; thence
N01°40'28"W 140.00 feet; thence N89°35'54"E 305.50 feet; thence N01°40'28"W

WHEREAS, Eugene B. Harris, as owner of said real estate,has-executed and acknowledged
an instrument consenting to said plat.
WHEREAS, said plat complies with all the requirements of Chapter 354 of the Code of Iowa
and the platting requirements of this County with respect to the platting of said real estate.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Boone County, Iowa,
as follows:
1. The Board of Supervisors accepts and approves as an official subdivision plat to be
known as Gene Harris Second Subdivision of Part of South % of SW '/< of Section 1, Township 83
North, Range 25 West of the 5"' P.M., Boone County, Iowa, described as follows:
That part of the South half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 1,Township 83 North,
Range 25 West of the 5th P.M., Boone County, Iowa, more particularly described as

2. The Board of Supervisors accepts for public right-of-way purposes those certain tracts
of land designated on said plat of Gene Harris Second Subdivision of Part of South '/z of SW'/ of
Section 1, Township 83 North, Range 25 West of the 5`h P.M., Boone County, Iowa, as follows:
Outlots G and F, as shown on Gene Harris Second Subdivision of Part of South '/:of SW'/4
of Section 1, Township 83 North, Range 25 West of the 5" P.M., Boone County, Iowa.
3. The Board of Supervisors authorizes 46W -��?,s-e&,and directs Philippe E.
Meier to certify and affix to said plat a true copy of this Resolution in accordance with Section 354.8
of the Code of Iowa.
The foregoing Resolution No. —0 , having been duly adopted this date by the Board of
Supervisors of Boone County, Iowa, hereby approve the same by affixing below my official signature
