ATTORNEY'S OPINION
I, Stephen Howell, hereby state that I am an Attorney at Law, duly admitted to the
practice of law in the State of Iowa, and a member of the firm of Newbrough, Johnston, Brewer,
Maddux & Howell, L.L.P., with offices at 612 Kellogg Avenue, Ames, Story County, Iowa. I
further state that I have examined the Abstract of Title to the following-described real estate,to-wit:
Lot Three(3), Hach Subdivision of the City of Ames, Iowa, as shown on a Plat of
Survey filed in the Office of the Recorder of Story County on April 12, 2002 as
Instrument Number 02-05536,
from the root of title thereof, down to and including the 2011 day of March; 2002, at 8:00 o'clock
a.m., last certified by Batman-Sayers Abstract Company, Nevada, Iowa (Iowa Title Guaranty
Division Member#8212).
Based upon information within said Abstract of Title and other instruments of which.
said attorney has personal knowledge but which were not filed of record as of the most recent
continuation of said Abstract, it is my opinion that legal title to the real estate is in Lincoln Bell,
L.L.C., a Delaware Limited Liability Company subject to the following
There are no liens against the subject real estate.

ordinances of the City of Ames, Iowa.
