The changes included in this change order are made in order to carry out the original intent of the contract. The changes included in this change order are to be accomplished in accordance with the terms, stipulations, and conditions of the original contract as though included herein. DESCRIPTION COST Helfrich to replace (supply, fabricate, and install) tubes found to be thin in the Unit 7 generating bank with new tubes. 62 tubes in row 1 overlaid with Inconel 625 weld at 0.050" thickness, 62 tubes in row 2 with no overlay, 21 tubes in row 10 with no overlay, and 124 tubes in rows 11a and 11b overlaid with Inconel 625 weld at 0.050" thickness. The base tubes are to be 2-1/2" OD SA178A x 0.135" mwt. Helfrich will replace an additional 2-3' of all tubes on the front and back walls at the bottom of the Unit 7 boiler with new tubes (without overlay). These tubes are to be 2-1/2" OD SA210A1 x 0.188" mwt. $761,733 Helfrich will also replace all tube stubs coming from both lower Unit 7 side wall headers with new 8" stubs that will have 5" of Inconel 625 weld overlay at 0.070" thickness. These tubes are to be 2-1/2" OD SA210A1 x 0.188" mwt. The above work is referenced in Helfrich's proposal letter dated June 28, 2019, and further clarified in an email from Curtis Spence dated July 9, 2019. The total price for this work of$761.733 includes 7% Iowa sales tax.
