ATTORNEY'S OPINION
I,Larry R.Curtis,hereby state that I am an Attorney at Law,duly admitted to the practice of
law in the State of Iowa,and a memberof the firm of PASLEYAND SINGER LAW FIRM,L.L.P.,with
offices at 323 Sixth Street, Ames, Story County, Iowa. I further state that I have examined the
abstract of title to the following-described real estate:
Commencing at the Northwest (NW) Corner (center of road) of the Northeast
Quarter(NE'/)of the Southeast Quarter(SE'/)of Section Twenty(20),Township
Eight-four(84) North, Range Twenty-four(24)West of the 5th P.M., Story County,
Iowa,thence East along the center ofthe road Five Hundred Twenty-one(521)Feet,
thence South Three Hundred One(301)Feet,thence West Five Hundred Twenty-
One (521) Feet to the West line of the said Northeast Quarter (NE'/) of the
Southeast Quarter(SE'/4),thence North Three Hundred One(301)Feet to the place
of beginning,Except the North Forty(40)Feet thereof;AND a Sixteen and One-half
(16%) Foot Drain Easement, the centerline thereof being described as follows:
Commencing Two Hundred Fifty-eight (258) Feet East of the Southwest (SW)
Corner of the approximately Three and Six Tenths(3.6)Acre tract described above
to the point of beginning; thence South to the South line of the Northeast Quarter
(NE'/)of the Southeast Quarter(SE'/)of Section Twenty(20),Township Eighty-
four(84) North, Range Twenty-four(24)West of the 51h P.M., Story County, Iowa
AND a Five(5)Foot Gas Pipeline Easement,the centerline thereof being described

Beginning; thence East Three Hundred Twenty-two (322) Feet.
from the date of the Root of Title thereof,down to and including the 281h day of June,2004,at 8:00
o'clock A.M.,as last certified by Batman-Sayers Abstract&Title. Based upon the information with
said abstract of title,it is my opinion that the fee simple title is in:DAVID D.JAMISON AND KAREN
A. JAMISON, husband and wife.

Said real estate is free from encumbrances, except for the following:
1. Mortgage to Norwest Bank,N.A.,now known as Wells Fargo Bank,Iowa,N.A., dated
November 12, 1997,filed December 5, 1997 as Inst. No. 97-13185, in the records of the office of
the Story County Recorder, encumbering all the above-described property.
2. Mortgage to Wells Fargo Bank,Iowa,N.A.,dated July 17,2002,filed August 20,2002,
as Inst.No.02-12402 in the records of the Office of the Story County Recorder,encumbering all the
above-described property.
3. Mortgage to Wells Fargo Mortgage,Inc.,dated February 14,2003,filed February 20,
2003, as Inst. No. 03-03271 in the records of the Story County Recorder, encumbering all of the
above-described property.
The property is subject to easements and restrictions of record and the general zoning
ordinances of Story County, Iowa.
