For the consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration,
AMES LAND COMPANY, L.L.C., an Iowa limited liability company,
does hereby Convey to the
CITY OF AMES, IOWA, an Iowa municipality,
the following described real estate in Story County, Iowa:
Lots A, B and C in BLOOMINGTON HEIGHTS WEST PLAT 1, an Official
Plat, Ames, Story County, Iowa.
THIS DEED IS EXEMPT FROM THE FILING OF A DECLARATION OF VALUE
AND TRANSFER TAX PURSUANT TO IOWA CODE § 428A.2(2j)
(DEED TO MUNICIPALITY WITHOUT CONSIDERATION).
Grantor hereby covenants with grantee, and successors in interest, that it holds the real
estate by title in fee simple; that it has good and lawful authority to sell and convey the real estate;
that the real estate is free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, except as may be above stated;
and it covenants to Warrant and Defend the real estate against the lawful claims of all persons,
except as may be stated above.
Words and phrases herein, including acknowledgment hereof, shall be construed as in the
singular or plural number, and as masculine or feminine gender, according to the context.
