RESOLUTION NO. 02-464
Resolution accepting partial completion of public improvements
required for Seventh Addition,Dauntless Subdivision,Ames,Iowa and
approving agreement and bond for completion of public improvements
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Ames, Iowa:
1. In accordance with the Certificate of the Municipal Engineer that the following
public improvements required for approval of the final plat of Seventh Addition,
Dauntless Subdivision, Ames, Iowa, have been satisfactorily completed in ac-
cordance with approved construction plans, the City Council accepts as satisfac-
tory and complete: water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and base course of
asphalt paving of Dickinson Road.
2. A Public Improvements Contract, secured by a cash deposit in the amount of
$14,250.00 is hereby authorized with respect to the following public improve-
ments required for approval of the final plat of the aforesaid subdivision: street
lights and final course of asphalt paving.
3. The City Council finds this resolution appropriate and necessary to protect, pre-
serve, and improve the rights, privileges, property, peace, safety, health, welfare,
comfort, and convenience of the City of Ames and its citizens, all as provided for
in and permitted by section 364.1 of the Code of Iowa(2002).
4. All other resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this resolution are
hereby repealed. If any part of this resolution is adjudged invalid or unconstitu-
tional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the resolution or action of
the City Council as a whole or any part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconsti-
tutional. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its approval as provided by law.
APPROVAL BYMAYOR
The foregoing Resolution having been adopted this date by the City Council, I
hereby approve the same by affixing my signature as Mayor on the 27 th day of
August , 2002.

The City Council of Ames, Iowa, met in regular session in the council chambers,
City Hall,Ames, Iowa, at 7:00 P.M., on the 27th day of A„g„Gt 12002,
with the Mayor presiding and the following Council Members present and absent:
Present: Cross, Gann ue; Hnffman,nt� irmhach, Vegge, Wirth
Absent: None
Council Member Quirmbach introduced the resolution and moved its
adoption. Council Member Vegge seconded the motion to adopt. Upon con-
sideration,the Mayor put the question on the motion. The roll was called and the Council
Members voted as follows:
Yes: Cross, Goodhue, Hoffman, Quirmbach, Vegge, Wirth
No: None Absent/Abstain: None
The Mayor declared the resolution adopted.

the City; that the foregoing Resolution are a true and exact copy of Resolution No.
