CITY OF AMES, IOWA
RESOLUTION NUMBER 02-366
BEING A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF SOUTH
GATEWAY DEVELOPMENT, AMES, IOWA.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, a plat of real estate described as follows;
The Real Estate described on the attached Exhibit A
to be known as SOUTH GATEWAY DEVELOPMENT, AMES, IOWA, said real estate
being situated within the corporate limits of the City of Ames, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ames, Iowa, has
acted on said plat as provided by law and has recommended that said plat
be approved, and
WHEREAS, SOUTH DAYTON DEVELOPMENT, L,C., HICKORY PARK, INC. and
SCOTT E, RANDALL and JANE RANDALL, Husband and Wife are the owners of
said real estate and will execute a written consent and dedication to the City
of Ames, Iowa upon approval of this Resolution by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the conditions and requirements-of the relevant
Sections of the Code of Iowa, and the ordinances of the Ofy of Ames, Iowa,
have been met to the extent the City Council deems appropriate, and
WHEREAS, It is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the plat of SOUTH GATEWAY DEVELOPMENT, Ames, Iowa, should be
accepted and approved, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of 'the City of
Ames, Iowa, that the plat of SOUTH GATEWAY DEVELOPMENT, Ames, Iowa„ be
and it is hereby accepted and approved,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all acts of the owners and proprietors of
said real estate be and they are hereby confirmed and approved by the City
Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Ames, Iowa, be and they are hereby directed to certify the Resolution affixed
to said Plat.

appointed Mayor and City Clerk, respectively, of the City of Ames, Iowa, do
hereby certify that the above Resolution is a true and accurate copy of said
Resolution; that said Resolution was duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, at a duly called meeting thereof on the
25th day of .Tune 2002.

A replat of Parcels B and C of the Southeast Quarter and Lot 1 of Wheelock
Subdivision of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter all in Section 12,
Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M., City of Ames, Story County,
Iowa being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest
Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 12; thence
N00°15'03"W, 75.00 feet to the Southwest Corner of said Parcel B, said point
being on the north right of way line of South 16th Street; thence S89048'46"E,
1251.53 feet along said line to the Southeast Corner of said Parcel B, said point
beiU on the west right of way line of South Dayton Avenue; thence
