Dear Diane,
I have just received a recorded copy of Hach Subdivision in the City of Ames recorded on April
12, 2002 as Instrument#02-05536 in the Office of the Story County Recorder. There are several
inconsistencies in the platting documentation I would like to bring to your attention.
First of all, on the Consent and Dedication,Hach Company was not the owner of record at the
time the resolution was passed by the City Council. Previously Parcel"E"was owned by Hach
Chemical Company but was deeded to Lincoln-Bell Investors LLC on March 27, 2002. The
attorney's opinion indicates that the legal title is in Lincoln Bell LLC.
Second, on the Resolution for Waiver of Sidewalk Requirements, our records to not show
Panattoni Development Company as owner of any parcels in Hach Subdivision.
I plan to process this subdivision, however I wanted to go on record with your office as to the
existence of these inconsistencies.
Thank
lI you,
