SUBJECT: Water Tower Place Platting Documents Gitd v'L; 1t
CITY t F 1-IY ,111N —
On several occasions you have asked me about the documents associated with the platting of the
three lots on the former water tower site. For your information, see the attached:
1. Attorney's opinion- to be signed after the February 26 meeting,
2. Consent and Dedication to be executed by Mayor and City Clerk following the
February 26 meeting,
3. Resolution approving and accepting the plat to be enacted by Council at the
February 26 meeting,
4. Certificate of the Treasurer to be executed by the Treasurer either before or shortly
after the February 26 meeting,
5. Acknowledgment of Receipt of Play by Assessor, and
6. Acknowledgment of Receipt of Plat by Auditor.
The easements for utilities will be shown on the plat-so the City does not, have to execute easement
instruments to itself. Similarly, the right-of-way for Hoover Avenue and 24th Street will be shown
on the plat, so the City does not have to execute deeds to itself.
