RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE PLAT
OF WATER TOWER PLACE SUBDIVISION OF AMES,
IOWA
WHEREAS,there has been submitted to the City Council of Ames,Iowa,a plat of WATER
TOWER PLACE SUBDIVISION of Ames, Iowa, said plat involving the following described real
estate:
One square acre in the Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter, Section 34, Township 84 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M., Story
County,Iowa, more specifically described as:Beginning at the Southeast Corner of
the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 34; thence
S89°29'49"W, 209.68 feet along the south line of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section 34; thence NO°01'17"W, 208.74 feet; thence
N89°30'28"E, 208.88 feet to the east line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 34;thence SO°04'30"E,208.71 feet along said east line to the
Point of Beginning, containing 1.00 aces, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of Ames, Iowa, that the said plat be
approved and accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Ames, Iowa, that the
said plat of WATER TOWER PLACE SUBDIVISION of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby
approved and accepted for and on behalf of the City of Ames,Iowa,and the lands shown on said plat
that are dedicated for the perpetual use of the public are hereby accepted by the City of Ames,Iowa,
and all acts and doings by the grantors in the premises are hereby confirmed and approved by the
