EASEMENT GRANT
Know all persons by THIS INSTRUMENT that Terra Firma, L.P., an Iowa Limited
Partnership, does hereby grant the CITY OF AMES, Iowa, its successors and assignees,
the perpetual right to the following described easement:
College Creek Greenbelt Conservation Easement:
For the purposes of open space and public access for public use of a bike trail and
pedestrian path over, upon, or across the real estate described as follows:
That part of outlot"Q"of Plat 1, South Fork Subdivision, an official Plat, now in and
forming a part of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, more particularly described
as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said outlot "Q"; thence North
00010'43"West, along the West line of said outlot"Q", a distance of 193.13 feet to
the point of beginning; thence North 00010'43" West, along said West line, a
distance of 130.20 feet; thence South 81045'10" East, a distance of 101.42 feet;
thence South 70037'56" East, a distance of 226.77 feet; thence South 59013'01"
East, a distance of 296.99 feet; thence South 47026'59" East, a distance of 136.78
feet to a corner of said outlot"Q";thence North 89003'55"West,along the South line
of said outlot "Q", a distance of 196.61 feet; thence North 56057'52" West, a
distance of 145.68 feet; thence North 62013'04" West, a distance of 209.43 feet;
thence North 81°49'45" West, a distance of 167.51 feet to the point of beginning.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the users of the granted
rights will assume liability for all damage to the real estate described herein and any adjacent real
estate caused by failure to use due care in the exercise of the granted rights.

executing the foregoing instrument, that the instrument was signed on behalf of the corporation
as General Partner of TERRA FIRMA, L.P, an Iowa Limited Partnership by authority of the
corporation's Board of Directors; that DAVID KELLER as that officer acknowledged execution of
the instrument to be the voluntary act and deed of the corporation and limited partnership by it and
by the officer voluntarily executed.
