RESOLUTION NUMBER 01-515
ACCEPTING PLAT OF NORTHRIDGE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION,
SECOND ADDITION,AMES, STORY COUNTY,IOWA
WHEREAS,there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,
a plat of real estate described as:
A tract of land located in the South Half of the Northwest Quarter
(SV2 NW1/4)of Section Twenty-eight(28),Township Eighty-four(84)
North, Range Twenty-four (24)West of the 5th P.M., City of Ames,
Story County,Iowa,described as follows: Commencing at the Center
of said Section 28, thence S89°50'58"W, 367.06 feet along the
Southerly line of the NW'/4 of said Section 28;thence N00°09'05"W,
60.00 feet to a point on the Northerly right-of-way line of
Bloomington Road, the Point of Beginning; thence S89°50'58"W,
10 18.3 1 feet along said Northerly right-of-way line and parallel to
said Southerly line to a point on the Easterly line of Northridge
Heights Subdivision,First Addition;thence N00°07'32"W,89.91 feet
along said Easterly line;thence N89°52'28"E, 129.00 feet along said
Easterly line; thence N00°07'32"W, 630.67 feet along said Easterly
line;thence S82°09'32"E,675.00 feet;thence N89°45'57"E,220.55
feet; thence S00109'05"E, 627.00 feet to the Point of Beginning;
containing 13.78 acres subject to easements of record.
to be known as NORTHRIDGE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION SECOND ADDITION, AMES,
STORY COUNTY,IOWA, and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ames, Iowa, has
recommended that the plat be approved, and
WHEREAS,the owner of said real estate,Uthe Development Company,L.L.C., an
Iowa Limited Liability Company has executed a written Consent and Dedication declaring that the
platting is with its free consent and is in accordance with its desires as proprietor, and
WHEREAS,it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,that the
plat should be approved,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the plat of NORTHRIDGE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION SECOND ADDITION,
AMES,IOWA, be and it is hereby accepted and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the acts of Uthe Development Company,
L.L.C., are hereby confirmed and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the dedication of Lot`B',Public Street,(Chilton
Avenue and Burnham Drive)within said street for public street services be and the same is hereby
accepted for and on behalf of the City of Ames,Iowa, and all acts of Uthe Development Company,
L.L.C., are hereby confirmed and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa, on this
13th day of November , 2001.
