RESOLUTION APPROVING CARRY-OVER OF UNSPENT FUNDS FROM FY 2017/18
TO FY 2018/19 FOR YOUTH AND SHELTER SERVICES (YSS) TRANSITIONAL
LIVING EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
FOR BASIC MATERIAL NEEDS PROGRAM
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City has an ASSET Agreement with Youth and Shelter Services(YSS)that
includes $31,750 for Emergency Shelter Services to be provided in FY 2017/18; and,
WHEREAS, YSS has requested to carry over unspent FY 2017/18 ASSET funds in the
Transitional Living Emergency Assistance for Basic Materials Needs Program to FY 2018/19.
WHEREAS,the 2018/19 budget will be amended at the appropriate time to reflect this carry-
over.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the carry-over of unspent funds from FY 2017/18 to FY 2018/19 for Youth and Shelter Services
(YSS) Transitional Living Emergency Assistance for Basic Material Needs Program is hereby
approved.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of June, 2018.
