Section 4,Township 83 North,Range 24 West of the 5th P.M.,Ames,-Story
County,Iowa,more particularly described as follows:Beginning on the east line
of Iowa Avenue at the Southwest corner of Lot 1 in Petersen's Subdivision,Ames,
Story County,Iowa;thence N89°37'29"E,244.73 feet to the Southeast corner of
Lot 3 in Petersen's Subdivision,Ames, Story County,Iowa;thence S00°03'05"W,
170.05 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 14,Block 1,Hyland Heights Addition
to Ames, Story County,Iowa;thence N89°58'38"W,244.58 feet to the Northwest
corner of said Lot 14 and the east line of Iowa Avenue;thence N00°00'00"E,
168.35 feet along said east line to the point of beginning,containing 0.95 acres.

The undersigned attorney-at law certifies as follows:
1. The undersigned has made an examination of the abstract of title to the real estate

This abstract was continued through the 7th day of August, 1997. The abstracted
property encompasses and contains the real estate first described above,which is to
be platted and known as"Darul Argum Subdivision, an Official Plat,now included
in and forming a part of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa". My examination of

the following party:

2. The real estate described above is free and clear of all liens and encumbrances except
for the following:
a. Zoning Ordinances of the City of Ames appear in Book 164 at Page 22 and
Book 183 at Page 306. The abstract indicates that the property is zoned in the
City of Ames as"RI-6" (Low Density Residential).
b. The real estate taxes for fiscal year 1995/96 and all prior years have been
paid. The regular taxes for fiscal year 1996/97 have not been certified for
collection by the Story County Auditor to the Story County Treasurer as of
the date of last continuation.
C. The real estate described above is free from certified special assessments
through the date of last continuation.
3. Pursuant to Iowa Code Section 354.11(3)(1997),utility easements on the property
are not noted herein.
