OF SUCH RIGHT, TITLE,AND INTEREST AS THE PARTIES SHALL HAVE IN CERTAIN LAND CONSTITUTING PART OF A VACATED ALLEY ADJACENT TO 315 S. 2ND STREET IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA; SETTING DATE, TIME, AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Ames, Iowa: Section One. That it is hereby proposed that the right, title, and interest of the City of Ames, Iowa,in certain land constituting a part of the vacated alley adjacent to 315 S.2nd Street,said land being more specifically described as: The East Half of the vacated alley abutting the West lot line of Lot 7, Block 3, Black's Second Addition to Ames, Story County,Iowa, said land not being necessary to city purposes, be conveyed to 315 S. 2nd Street, L.L.C. at no charge due to the property owners paying property taxes on the public alley since 1979. The property owner will be required to grant the City a Utility Easement over the subject property prior to the Quit Claim Deed being recorded. Section Two. A public hearing on the proposed conveyance as aforesaid shall be held as required by law to coincide with the City Council meeting of May 22, 2018,which will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa.
