RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE, BY QUIT
CLAIM DEED TO DENNIS AND DAWN HEABERLIN OF SUCH RIGHT,
TITLE,AND INTEREST AS THE PARTIES SHALL HAVE IN CERTAIN LAND
CONSTITUTING A THREE-FOOT BOUNDARYLINE ADJUSTMENT ALONG
THE SOUTH PROPERTY LOT LINE AT 1125 MAXWELL AVENUE IN THE
CITY OF AMES,IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City ofArnes, Iowa:
That it is hereby approved that the right, title, and interest in certain the land constituting the a
three-foot boundary line adjustment along the south property lot line at 1125 Maxwell Avenue, said land
being more specifically described as:
PARCEL J:
LOT 2 AND THE SOUTH 3' OF LOT 1, ALL IN BLOCK 2, SUNRISE ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 2, BLOCK 2, SUNRISE
ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA: THENCE N
00058'53"W ON THE EAST LINE OF SAID BLOCK 2, A DISTANCE 52.95 FEET;
THENCE N 89009'06"W, ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 2, A DISTANCE
OF 118.76 FEET; THENCE S 01°07'30"E, ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 2,
A DISTANCE OF 53.04 FEET; THENCE S 89'11'32"E, A DISTANCE OF 118.63
FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THE DESCRIBED BOUNDARY
CONTAINS 0.14 ACRES (6,286.8 S.F.), MORE OR LESS,
shall be conveyed to Dennis and Dawn Heaberlin, with a release of all adverse claims signed by Dennis
and Dawn Heaberl n.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AMES,IOWA, THAT:
1. Pursuant to Iowa Code Section 364.7, notice regarding the proposed sale of real property,
which included the date set for the public hearing, was published on September 19, 2017.
2. The public hearing regarding the disposition of the property was held on September 26,
2017, pursuant to said notice, and the City Council approved said conveyance.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of September, 2017.
