HOLM, hereby state that I am an Attorney at Law, duly admitted to the practice of law in the State of Iowa, and a member of the firm of Pasley, Singer, Pasley, Holm, Timmons & Mathison, with offices at 323 Sixth Street, Ames, Story County, Iowa. Based upon the information within said Abstract of Title, it is my opinion that the fee simple title is in EVERETT W. COCHRANE and MORTENSON I, A LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, and said RMK A 31 PAGE 9 A, - 2 - real estate is free from encumbrances except for the following: 1. Mortgage to Ames Building and Loan Association, dated March 7, 1977, and filed for record on March 8, 1977, in Book 131, Page 34, Records of Story County, Iowa; 2. Mortgage to Brenton National Bank of Des Moines, dated January 1, 1987, and filed for record on March 2, 1987, in Book 306, Page 231, Records of Story County, Iowa; 3. Assignment to Brenton National Bank of Des Moines, dated January 1, 1987, and filed for record on March 2, 1987, in Book 247, Page 219, Records of Story County, Iowa; 4. Financing Statement dated and filed for record on March 2, 1987, in Book 306, Page 275, Records of Story County, Iowa; and 5. Regulatory Agreement between Mortenson I, A Limited Partnership and Brenton National Bank of Des Moines, dated January 1, 1987, and filed for record on March 2, 1987, in Book 247, Page 267, Records of Story County, Iowa.
