KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That Everett W. Cochrane and
Marjorie L. Cochrane, husband and wife, in consideration of One Dollar
and Other Good and Valuable'.Cons,ideration do hereby grant to the City
of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation; -its successors and assigns, the
r .. perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, maintain and use electric lines,
consisting of poles, wires, cables, conduits, fixtures, anchors and Simi-
lar equipment, including the right to trim or remove trees within such
area where necessary to secure a clearance of four feet from the wires
or poles, together with the right to extend to telephone, telegraph, elec-
tric or power companies, the right to use separately or jointly with the
City of Ames, Iowa, the areas included in this,easement: for the purposes
above enumerated, over, upon, across or under the following described
real estate, situated in the County of Story, State of Iowa, to-wit:

Said grantors do hereby grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a munic-
ipal corporation, its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to con-
struct, reconstruct, maintain and use a storm sewer over, upon, across
and under the following described real estate, to-wit:
A strip of land 20. 0 feet wide centered on a line described
as beginning at a point 200.0 feet South 75 006'12" East of

Lion to the City of Ames, Iowa; thence North 67°23'48" East
293. 5 Feet; .thence North 11°53'48" East 313. 0 Feet to an
existing concrete headwall structure.
Said grantors do hereby grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a munic-
ipal corporation, its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to con-
struct, reconstruct, maintain and use a sanitary sewer over, upon, across
and under the following described real estate, to-wit:
A strip of land 20. 0 Feet wide centered on a line described
as beginning at a point 200. 0 Feet South 75°06'12" East of
the Southwest corner of Willow Creek Estates First Addi-
tion to the City of Ames, Iowa; thence North 75023'48" East
333.0 Feet to a point designated "A, " thence North 7°53'48"
East 352. 5 Feet to a point on the North line of said Willow
Creek Estates First Addition located 70. 0 Feet North 83°
01'08" West of the Northeast Corner of said Willow Creek
Estates First Addition; thence North 7053'48" East 87. 0
Feet to-ari existing sanitary sewer manhole. And a strip -
of land 20. 0 Feet wide centered on a line described as
beginning at the aforesaid point "A"; thence South 35°36'
12" East to the Southeast corner of said Willow Creek Estates
First Addition.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the
City of Ames, Iowa, will assume responsibility for all damage to the above
described property caused by the City's failure -to use due care in the exer-
cise of its granted right.
