HomeMy WebLinkAboutA005 - Council Action Form dated April 23, 1985 ITEM #: DATE: 4 23 8 COUNCIL ACTION FORM SUBJECT : Resolution Reaffirming the Approval of the CDP for the WGGC Subdivision BACKGROUND: Mr. Marvin Walter, representing the developers of the WGGC Subdivision, is requesting that the City Council reaffirm its approval of the CDP for the WGGC Subdivision . On October 18, 1983, the City Council adopted a Resolution that approved the CDP for this Subdivision. (A copy of the Resolution is attached. ) Section 23 . 11 of the Municipal Code indicates that the City Council must reaffirm its approval of the CDP if an Administrative Plat has not been submitted within one year of that date. In this instance, the developer would have had to submit the Administrative Plat by October 18, 1984. In that the developers are now wanting to begin the development of this area, this reaffirmation is necessary. The CDP, as originally proposed and approved, is not changing, thus , the developer is simply asking the City Council to reaffirm its original approval . A copy of the approved CDP is attached for your review. The Department of Planning and Housing and the Planning and Zoning Commission have recommended that the City Council reaffirm its original approval . ALTERNATIVES: 1 . The City Council can reaffirm its approval of the CDP for the WGGC Subdivision dated September 6, 1983. 2. The City Council can deny reaffirmation of its approval of the CDP for the WGGC Subdivision. MANAGER'S RECOMMENDED ACTION: It is recommended by the City Manager that the City Council adopt Alternative #1. This will reaffirm the approval of the CDP and enable the developer to begin the process of approval for the Administrative Plat of the WGGC Subdivision.
