RESOLUTION APPROVING FY 2018-2021
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, the Ames Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is the designated Metropolitan
Planning Organization(MPO)for the Ames Metropolitan Area; and,
WHEREAS, the Transportation Policy Comnuttee, in cooperation with the state, is conducting a
continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive (3-C) transportation planning process pursuant to
23 CFR 450.114 (c).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ames Area Metropolitan Planning Organization
Transportation Policy Committee that the Federal Fiscal Year 2018-2020 Transportation
Improvement Program is hereby approved, and submittal of the document to the Iowa Department
of Transportation for inclusion in its Statewide Transportation Improvement Program is hereby
further approved.
ADOPTED THIS 11 th day of July, 2017.
