RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That Buck Construction Company, Inc. , an Iowa Corporation, having its
principal place of business in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, for and in
consideration of the sum of One Dollar, receipt of which is hereby acknowledg-
ed, does hereby grant to the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, its successors
and assigns, the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, operate and main-
tain electric lines, consisting of poles, wires, cables, conduits, fixtures,
anchors and other similar equipment, including the right to trim or remove
trees within such area where necessary to secure clearance of four feet from
the wires or poles, together with the right to extend to telegraph, telephone,
electric or power companies or a company the right to use separately or
jointly with the City of Ames, the areas included in this easement for the
purposes above enumerated, over, upon, across or under the following
described real estate situated in the County of .Story, State of Iowa, to-wit:
The North 7. 5 feet of Lots 11 and 12;
The West 5 feet of Lot .11;
The West 10 feet of Lots 9 and 10;
The East 5 feet of the North 82 feet of Lot 12;
The East 10 feet of Lot 12 except the North 82 feet;
All in Third Addition, Westwood Heights Subdivision of An,-- s, Iowa.
And does further grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, its successors and
assigns, a perpetual easement for construction, reconstruction and maintenance
of sanitary sewer lines and water lines over, upon, across and under the
following real estate:
A strip 10 feet in width, being 5 feet on each side of the
centerline described as beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot
10, thence West to a point 50 feet west of the Northeasterly boundary
line of Lot 13, thence Northwesterly, parallel to the said North-
easterly boundary line of Lot 13, to the Northwest boundary line of
said Lot 13;
The East10 feet of the South 167. 7 feet of Lot 12; the West 10
feet of Lots 9 and 10;
All such lots being in Third Addition, Westwood Subdivision of Ames,
HIRSCHBURG.REYNOLDS. Iowa..

of Ames will assume responsibility for all damage to the above described
property caused by the City's failure to use due care in the exercise of its
granted right.

Robert O. Buck and Anne K. Buck, to me personally known, who, being by me
duly sworn, did say that they are the President and Secretary, respectively,
of said corporation executing the within and foregoing instrument, that the
seal affixed thereto is the seal of said corporation; that said instrument was
signed and sealed on behalf of said corporation by authority of its Board of
Directors; that the said Robert O. Buck, as President and Anne K. Buck, as
Secretary, acknowledged the execution of said instrument to be the voluntary
