Buck and Anne K. Buck, husband and wife, of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant to the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, operate and maintain electric lines, consisting of poles, wires, cables, conduits, fixtures, anchors and other similar equip- ment, including the right to trim or remove trees within such area where necessary to secure clearance of four feet from the wires or poles, together with the right to extend to telegraph, telephone, electric or power companies or a company the right to use separately or jointly with the City of Ames, the areas included in this easement for the purposes above enumerated, over, upon, across or under the following described real estate situated in the County of Story, State of Iowa, to-wit: The South 5 feet of Lots 12, 13, 14 and 15; The East 5 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 15; The East 4 feet of Lot 13; The West 4 feet of Lot 14; Five feet adjacent to the southeasterly boundary of Lot 6; Five feet adjacent to the northwesterly boundary of Lot 5; all in First Addition to Westwood Subdivision to the City of Ames, Iowa. The undersigned do further grant unto the said City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, operate and maintain a storm sewer and a sanitary sewer over the following described real estate: Twenty feet adjacent to the northwesterly boundary of Lot 5, First Addition to Westwood Subdivision to the City of Ames, Iowa. The undersigned do further grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa an easement for park access over the following described real estate: 1'HIRSCHBURO. REYNOLDS. GILCHRIST. Twelve feet adjacent to the northwesterly boundary of Lot 5, First Addition to Westwood Subdivision to the City of Ames, Iowa. The foregoing right is granted upon the express condition that the City of Ames will assume responsibility for all damage to the above des- cribed property caused by the City's failure to use due care in the exercise of its granted right.
