BACKGROUND: The owners of Lot 10 Westbrook Subdivision 2nd Addition are in the pro- cess of selling this property. The property survey indicates that the house partially occupies a 10 foot wide utility easement along the south lot line. A portion of this utility easement is needed for maintenance of a storm sewer line. Since there is another 10 foot wide easement south of this easement, it will be possible to vacate the part of the easement where the house is located and not affect the access to the storm sewer. MANAGER'S RECOMMENDED ACTION: It is recommended by the City Manager that_the City Council vacate the north 4 feet of the utility easement described as the east `85 feet of the south 10 feet of Lot 10 Westbrook Subdivision 2nd Addition.
