RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE AGREEMENT
WITH MARCIA M. BARBER AND
JOLENE R. BEVERIDGE AND RICHARD D. BEVERIDGE
PERTAINING TO THE 2015/16 WEST LINCOLN WAY IMPROVEMENTS
(FRANKLIN AVENUE)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, this project is for constructing left-turn lanes and installing redesigned traffic
signals at the Franklin Avenue/Lincoln Way intersection; and,
WHEREAS, the City needs to enter into a Purchase Agreement with the affected property
owner, Marcia M. Barber and Jolene R Beveridge and Richard D. Beveridge; and,
WHEREAS, this property owner at 3316 Lincoln Way has accepted the City's offer of
$7,360.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the Purchase Agreement between the City of Ames and Marcia M. Barber and Jolene R.
Beveridge and Richard D. Beveridge for property at 3316 Lincoln Way in the amount of$7,360 is
hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 23' day of May, 2017.
