ACCEPTING THE PLAT OF
VULCAN INDUSTRIAL PROPERTIES SUBDIVISION
TO AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, a plat of the land described below and designated as
"Vulcan Industrial Properties Subdivision to Ames, Iowa."
WHEREAS, the Conceptual Development Plan for the plat has been
submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission as required by law and
has been returned to the City Council with the recommendations of the
Planning and Zoning Commission, and it was approved by the City
Council.
WHEREAS, the Administrative Plat has been filed and approved by
the staff of the City of Ames.
WHEREAS, the owners of the real estate have executed and duly
acknowledged an instrument consenting to the plat.
WHEREAS, it now appears that the owners of the real estate have
complied with all of the requirements of Chapter 354 of the Code of Iowa
and the platting ordinance of the City of Ames with respect to the platting
of the real estate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Ames,
Iowa, does hereby accept and approve the plat of Vulcan Industrial
Properties Subdivision to Ames, Iowa, involving the real estate described
as follows:

Replat of Lot 7, Pete Cooper Subdivision, City of
Ames, Story County, Iowa, more particularly described
as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot
7 in Pete Cooper Subdivision, City of Ames, Story
County, Iowa; thence N00°58'22"W, 381.46 feet to
the Northwest corner of said Lot 7; thence along the
northerly line of said Lot 7, N89°22'41"E, 355.74 feet;
thence SO1°03'42"E„ 144.52 feet; thence N89°22'41"
E, 689.10 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 7;
thence SO1°02'00"E, 218.53 feet along the easterly line
of said Lot 7 to the beginning of a curve tangent to said
line; thence southerly, southwesterly and westerly 110.46
feet along the curve concave to the northwest, having a
radius of 70.00 feet and a central angle of 90°24'41";
tangent to said curve, 618.46 feet to the beginning of a
curve tangent to said line; thence westerly 191.46 feet
along the curve concave to the north, having a radius
of 971.05 feet and a central angle of 11°17'50"; thence
N79°19'29"W, 169.80 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 7.93 acres.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of the
City of Ames, Iowa, are hereby authorized and directed to certify. and a I
