My principal place of business is located at 618 Douglas Ave.,P.O. Box 270,Ames, IA 50010-0270 (Telephone: 515-239-5000). 2. In accordance with section 3 54.11 of the Code of Iowa, I have examined the abstract of title to the real property described in the attached Consent, shown in the subdivision plat, and to be known as First Addition,Terra Firma Subdivision,Ames,Iowa. 3. Based on such examination,I find that fee simple title to said real property is vested in: TERRA FIRMA,L.P. 4. Based on such examination, I find that the following are holders of mortgages,liens, or other en- cumbrances on said real property being platted: 4.1. The real estate was mortgaged by Terra Firma,L.P., to First American Bank to secure an original indebtedness of$550,000.00 and future advances by a mortgage under date of November 18, 1998, filed in the office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on No- vember 30, 1998,and recorded as Instrument N°98-16550, which encumbers the North 54 feet of Lot 14,Parker's Addition to Ames,Iowa, except that portion sold off the West end for railway purposes (and also known as Story County Parcel N°09-09-131-090, lo- cally known as 221 Stanton Avenue,Ames,Iowa); AND The South 58.6 feet of the North 112.6 feet of Lot 14 in Parker's Addition to Ames, Iowa, and a 30 foot strip of aban- doned Fort Dodge, Des Moines & Southern Railroad Company right of way across the North 112.6 feet of Lot 14 in Parker's Addition to Ames, Iowa (and also known as Story County Parcel N°09-09-131-100,locally known as 223 Stanton Avenue,Ames,Iowa). 4.2. The real estate was mortgaged by Terra Firma, L.P., to Union Planters Bank, National Association to secure an original indebtedness of$150,000.00 by a mortgage under date of July 15, 1999, filed in the office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on July 15, 1999, and recorded as Instrument N° 99-09429, which encumbers the North 58 feet of the South 83.7 feet of Lot 14 in Parker's Addition to Ames, Iowa (and also known as Story County Parcel N° 09-09-131-110, locally known as 229 Stanton Avenue, Ames, Iowa). 4.3. The real estate was mortgaged by Terra Firma, L.P., to Union Planters Bank, National Association to secure an original indebtedness of$150,000.00 by a mortgage under date of July 15, 1999, filed in the office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on July 15, 1999, and recorded as Instrument N° 99-09434, which encumbers the South 25 feet of Lot 14, except the West 15 feet thereof; and the North 32.3 feet of Lot 15, except the West 15 feet thereof; all in Parker's Addition to Ames, Iowa (and also known as Story County Parcel N°09-09-131-120,locally known as 301 Stanton Avenue, Ames, Iowa).
