HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Plat of Survey for 2700-2728 Lincoln Way, 115 South Sheldon Avenue, and 112 and 114 South Hyland Avenue DO NOT WRITE IN THE SPACE ABOVE THIS LINE,RESERVED FOR RECORDER Prepared by:City Clerk's Office,515 Clark Avenue,Ames,IA 50010 Phone:515-239-5146 Return to:Ames City Clerk,P.O.Box 811,Ames,IA 50010 Phone:515-239-5105 RESOLUTION NO. 17-116 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR 2700, 2702, 2718, AND 2728 LINCOLN WAY, 112 AND 114 SOUTH HYLAND AVENUE, AND 115 SOUTH SHELDON AVENUE FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary lime adjustment per Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and, WHEREAS, the site is located at 2700, 2702, 2718, and 2728 Lincoln Way, 112 and 114 S outh Hyland Avenue, and 115 South Sheldon Avenue, and the owner is Ames Caddis, LLC; and, WHEREAS, the real estate description is: Survey Description-Parcel'M': Parcel L, being a portion of vacated South Sheldon Avenue, as shown on the Plat of Survey filed at Instrument No. 2017-01354, in the East One-half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; Lots 1-4 in Lee's Subdivision; the South 77.5 feet of the North 290.5 feet of the West Three-fifths of the East One-half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; part of the East Two-fifths of the East One-half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; and Office and Condominium Units 101, 102 and 103 in TPM Condominiums, in accordance with the Declaration of Submission to Horizontal Property Regime for TPM Condominiums filed in the office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on December 30, 2005 as Inst. No. 05-16146, being a part of the East One-half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, all being in Section 9, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5t' P.M., City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, and all together being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest Corner of said Lot 2 in Lee's Subdivision, said point being at the intersection of the South line of Lincoln Way with the East line of South Hyland Avenue; thence S89°55'41'E, 303.31 feet along the South line of said Lincoln Way to its intersection with the West line of South Sheldon Avenue; thence following the West lime of South Sheldon Avenue S0098'1 YE, 264.50 feet to the Southeast Corner of said Parcel L; thence N89°56'40'W, 103.25 feet to the West line of said East Two-fifths of the East One-half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence N00°14'58'W, 7.00 feet along said line to the Southeast Corner of the South 77.5 feet of the North 290.5 feet of the West Three-fifths of the East One-half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter;thence N89°55'42"W, 199.76 feet to the Southwest Corner thereof, said point being on the East line of South Hyland Avenue; thence N00°22'23"W, 257.53 feet along said line to the point of beginning, containing 1.81 acres. WHEREAS, a preliininary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered by the Planning and Housing Department with no conditions; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Aries, Iowa, that the Plat of Survey for 2700, 2702, 2718, and 2728 Lincoln Way, 112 and 114 South Hyland Avenue, and 115 South Sheldon Avenue is hereby approved.
