RESOLUTION NO. 17-093
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR
2510- 2526 LINCOLN WAY
FOR TIE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary line adjustment
per Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, the site is located at 2510 - 2526 Lincoln Way, and the owner is Scott E. Randall; and,
WHEREAS, the real estate description is:
Lot 5 and Lots 6, 7 and 8, except the South 10 feet thereof, all in the Auditor's Plat of Blocks 3,
4, and 5 of Beardshear's Addition and Walter's Subdivision, City of Ames, Story County, Iowa,
all together being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of
said Lot 5; thence S00°13'52"E, 35.00 feet to the Southeast Corner thereof; thence
S89°58'01'W, 10.00 feet to the east line of said Lot 6; thence S00013'52"E, 45.00 feet along said
lime; thence S89058'06"W, 118.71 feet to the west line of said Lot 8; thence N00°17'44"W, 80.00
feet to the Northwest Corner thereof, thence N89°58'04"E, 128.80 feet along the north line of
said Lots 8, 7, 6 and 5 to the point of beginning, containing 0.23 acres;
and,
WHEREAS, a prelinvnary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered
by the Planning and Housing Department with no conditions; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that
the Plat of Survey for 2510 - 2526 Lincoln Way is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 28th day of February, 2017.
