RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR
601 AND 603 SOUTH 16TH STREET AND 1420 SOUTH GRAND AVENUE
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary line
adjustment per Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, the site is located at 601 and 603 South 161h Street and 1420 South Grand Avenue,
and the owner is the Randall Corporation; and,
WHEREAS, the real estate description is:
Parcel'A':
Outlot C and the North 25.00 feet of Lots 1 and 3, all in Aspen Ridge 2nd Addition to the City of Ames,
Story County, Iowa, all together being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest
Corner of said Lot 1; thence N89°50'12'E, 845.55 feet along the North lines of said Lots 1, 3 and Outlot
C to the Northeast Corner thereof thence S10°00'00'E, 10.40 feet; thence S84°03'26"W, 49.55 feet;
thence S 12°30'00'E, 155.32 feet;thence S00°00'00"W, 259.45 feet to the Southeast Corner of said Outlot

and,
WHEREAS, a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered
by the Planning and Housing Departrnent with no conditions; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that
the Plat of Survey for 601 and 603 South 16"' Street and 1420 South Grand Avenue is hereby approved.
