I, Bill Allen, Partner of the Stone Brooke Partnership, of Ames,
Story County, Iowa, in consideration of the sum of One Dollar, receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant to the City of Ames,
Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns, the perpetual
right to construct, reconstruct, maintain and use its electric lines,
consisting of poles, wires, overhead or underground cables, fixtures,
anchors and other similar equipment, or any part thereof, upon
underground, over or across the following described real estate:
The northeasterly 10.00 feet of Lots 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
The easterly 10.00 feet of lots 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18,
and 19.
The westerly 1.0.00 feet of lot 20.
The southwesterly 10.00 feet of lots 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27,
28, 29, and 30.
The southeasterly 10.00 feet of lot 28.
The northwesterly 10.00 feet of lot 29.
Outlot "Z" .
all within Stone Brooke Subdivision Fifth Addition City of Ames, Iowa.
We further grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, the right to permit other
utility companies to construct and, in the same manner, maintain its
utility facilities, jointly or severally, upon, underground, over or
across the real estate as described above.

The foregoing right is granted upon the express condition that the
users of the granted right will assume liability for all damage to the
hereinbefore described real estate and adjoining real estate caused by
failure to use due care in the exercise of the granted right.
