HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Easement for mid-block walkway in South Fork Subdivision, 8th Addition RESOLUTION NO. 16-735 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING NEW EASEMENT FOR MID-BLOCK WALKWAY IN SOUTH FORK SUBDIVISION, 8TH ADDITION FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS, Pinnacle Properties Ames, LLC, has submitted a final subdivision plat for the South Fork Subdivision, 9t'Addition, to allow further residential development; and, WHEREAS, the 9t' Addition, is a replat of Outlot A of the 8t' Addition and is consistent with the approved preliminary plat and master plan that the City Council approved on August 23, 2016; and, WHEREAS, this is the last addition to the South Fork development as shown on the previously approved preliminary plats; and, WHEREAS, South Fork Subdivision has been developed over a number of years with several amendments to the approved preliminary plat and master plan, and since this is the last addition that will need Council approval, staff reviewed the prior plats to ensure that all of the required public improvements have been installed or that the financial security is being held; and, WHEREAS, an item for correction includes a mid-block walkway easement in South Fork Subdivision, 8tn Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the new easement for the mid-block walkway in South Fork Subdivision, 8t' Addition, is hereby accepted.
