RESOLUTION NO. 91-47 OF THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF STORY COUNTY, IOWA
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
THE PLAT OF
STERLING SUBDIVISION,
STORY COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Board of Supervisors of
Story County, Iowa, a plat of real estate described as:
A part of the East Half of Section 34, Township 83
North, Range 24 West of the 5th PM, Story County,
Iowa, described as follows: Beginning at the
Northeast Corner of said Section 34; thence
N89012'50"W, 1 ,317.28 feet to the Northwest Corner
of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
said Section 34; thence S0025'00"E, 1 ,330.70 feet to
the Southwest Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of said Section 34; thence
N89048'38"W, 465.79 feet along the North line of the
Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said
Section 34; thence SO°19'33"E 1 ,832.13 feet; thence
S89020'51 "E, 1 ,787.56 feet to the East line of the
Southeast Quarter of said Section 34; thence
NO°00'38"E, 511 .49 feet along said East line to the
East Quarter. Corner of said Section 34; thence
N0030'10"W, 2,651 .44 feet along the East line of the
Northeast Quarter to the Point of Beginning,
containing 115.48 acres;
to be known as STERLING SUBDIVISION, and
WHEREAS, said plat has been submitted to the Story County
Planning and Zoning Commission as required by law and said
Commission has recommended that the plat be approved, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said real estate have consented to said
plat, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the owners of the real estate have met
all conditions, as required by law, concerning the platting of the real
estate, including those established by the City of Ames, Iowa, said real
estate lying within two (2) miles of the Corporate Limits of the City of Ames,
Iowa, and

WHEREAS, it appears that all conditions and requirements
prescribed by Chapter 409, Code of Iowa, as amended, and as
prescribed by Land Use Policies and Zoning Ordinances of Story County,
Iowa, have been complied with and met, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Board of Supervisors of Story
County, Iowa, that said plat should be accepted and the dedication of
said streets should be accepted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of
Story County, Iowa, that the plat of STERLING SUBDIVISION, be and the
same is hereby accepted and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all acts and deeds of THEODORE R.
STERLING, JR. and PEGGY JEAN STERLING, a/k/a PEGGY J. STERLING,
Husband and Wife, DALE E. CLARK, JR. and PATRICIA L. CLARK, Husband
and Wife, and IOWA ACRES, INC., an Iowa corporation, as owners of said
premises, be and they are hereby confirmed and approved by the
Board of Supervisors of Story County, Iowa, this ___?4th day of
September , 1 99 1.

We, Jane E. Halliburton and Alvina M. McHone, being the duly
elected and appointed Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Story
County, Iowa, and the County Auditor of Story County, Iowa,
respectively, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
is a true and accurate copy of said Resolution; that said Resolution was
duly passed adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Story County,
Iowa, at a duly called meeting thereof on the 24th day of
September , 1991
