RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
POWER PLANT FUEL CONVERSION -ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION GENERAL
WORK CONTRACT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Electric Services Department has filed a certificate of completion for the
Power Plant Fuel Conversion - Electrical Installation General Work Contract for the City of Ames,
Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated September 22, 2015, by and between the City of Ames,
Iowa, and FPD Power Development, LLC, of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Power Plant Fuel Conversion- Electrical Installation
General Work Contract has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with
the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $3,387,096.67.
Section 3. The amount due FPD Power Development, LLC, of Minneapolis, Minnesota,
is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
