RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2015/16 TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROGRAM
(UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD AND U.S. HIGHWAY 30 WEST-BOUND OFF-RAMP)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for the
2015/16 Traffic Signal Program (University Boulevard and U.S. Highway 30 west-Bound Off-
Ramp) for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated May 24, 2016, by and
between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Iowa Signal, Inc., of Grimes, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2015/16 Traffic Signal Program (University
Boulevard and U.S.Highway 30 west-Bound Off-Ramp)has been fully completed by the
Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and
approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $185,708.46.
Section 3. The amount due Iowa Signal, Inc., of Grimes, Iowa, is hereby ordered paid
as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
