` RESOLUTION NO. 84-212
DISPOSING OF ALL INTEREST OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, IN
' CERTAIN STREET AND ALLEY RIGHT OF WAY VACATED BY ORDINANCE
} NUMBER 2351. w

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, acting
- in accordance with notice duly published, and after holding a
public hearing, did adopt Ordinance No. 2351 on August 4,
1970; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 2351 vacated certain por-
tions of street and alley right of way in the original Town '
t j of New Philadelphia, Story County, Iowa, and in Vest's Addi-
tion to New Philadelphia, Story County, Iowa (now a part of
{ the City of Ames, Iowa), and provided for the disposition of
Jam: such vacated right of way by conveyance to th"e abutting pro-
perty owners.
NOW,. THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Coun-
cil of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
$` 1. The Mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and direc-
ted to execute on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, a Quit
Claim Deed in the form attached hereto conveying to ERBEN A.
f HUNZIKER and DONALD M. FURMAN, R. FRIEDRICH AND SONS, INC. ,
4 and BUCK CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., all interest of the City
of Ames, Iowa, in and to that certain real property described
^ as follows:
4' Vacated street right of way in the City of Ames,
Iowa, originally platted as part of Vest s Addition
to New Philadelphia, Story County, Iowa, described
Y as follows: the WEST ONE-HALF OF PINE STREET from #the South line of Block 17 7 extended in said Vest's
