HomeMy WebLinkAboutA009 - Resolution No. 85-181 adopted June 18, 1985 RESOLUTION NO. 85-181 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF SPRING VALLEY SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA. WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, a Conceptual Development Plan of real estate to be known as Spring Valley Subdivision, and WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Ames, Iowa, has recommended that the Conceptual Development Plan be approved (contingent upon rezoning) with the following stipulations: 1. The storm water management plan must be approved prior to approval of the Administrative Plat. 2. Language will be placed on the Administrative and Final Plats which states that the open space is to be dedicated to the City and will be unmaintained and left as a natural open space. 3. The portion of Ross Road from Idaho Avenue to the east property line of the Spring Valley development will be improved by the developer when the area is developed for lots, unless at the time the final plat is approved, the City Council will deem this development to be unnecessary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Conceptual Development Plan of Spring Valley Subdivision to the City of Ames, Iowa, be, and the same is hereby approved.
