RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR
SOUTH FORK SUBDIVISION, 8TH ADDITION
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, Pinnacle Properties, LLC, represented by Keith Arneson, is seeking approval
of a revised Preliminary Plat for a portion of the South Fork development; and,
WHEREAS,South Fork lies south ofthe west Hy-Vee and north of the Ames Middle School.
Initial development occurred in 2001 and the most recent revision of the preliminary plat was in
2013; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Preliminary Plat connects Coy Street that is part of South Fork
Subdivision to the original section of Coy Street to the east in the Vivian G. Coy Subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, Sunflower Drive will be extended south and connect with this new portion of
Coy Street; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Preliminary Plat includes five lots intended for single-family,
detached homes and eight lots intended for town homes,for a net increase of four housing units;and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the revised
Preliminary Plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the revised Preliminary Plat for Outlot A of South Fork Subdivision, 8t1i Addition, is hereby
approved.
ADOPTED THIS 23rd day of August, 2016.
