0605t'Conservative Mortgage Company, in consideration of the
sum of One Dollar and other valuable consideration, does hereby
grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its
successors and assigns , the perpetual right to construct, re-
construct, maintain and use its electric lines, consisting of
poles; wires, overhead or underground cables , fixtures-;-anchors,
conduits, and other similar equipment, upon, over, under or
across the following described real estate:
The Southeast five (5) feet of Lot Two (2) ;
The Northwest five (5) feet of Lot Three (3) ;
The East Fifteen (15) feet of the Southeast five (5)
feet of Lot Six (6) ;
The East Fifteen (15) feet of the Northeast five (5)
feet of .Lot Seven (7) ;
The West Fifteen (15) feet of the Northwest five (5)
feet of Lot Eleven (11) ;
The West Fifteen (15) feet of the Southeast five
(5) feet of Lot Twelve (12) ;
The West Ten (10) feet of Lot Fifteen (15) ; +
The West Ten (10) feet of Lot Sixteen (16) ;
The West Ten (10) feet and the South five (5)
feet of Lot Seventeen (17) ;
The South five (5) feet of Lot Eighteen (18) ;
The South five (5) feet of Lot Nineteen (19) ;

The Southeast five (5) feet of Lots Twenty (20) ,
Twenty-one (21) and Twenty-two (22) ;
The Southeast five (5) feet and the Southwest
five (5) feet of Lot Twenty-three (23) ;
all within Southdale 2nd Addition to Ames, Iowa, for the sole
purpose of conveying electric current for power and lighting
purposes, together with the right to trim any trees to allow
for a clearance of at least four (4) feet, where necessary,
for the safe operation and use of overhead electric lines .
Conservative Mortgage Company further grants to the City of Ames,
Iowa, the right to permit other utility companies to construct
and maintain utilityfacilities jointly or severally,J Y y, over,
upon, under or across the real estate above described.

all within Southdale 2nd Addition to Ames, Iowa.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express con-
dition that the City of Ames will assume liability for all damageE
to the above described real estate caused by the City° s failure
to use due care in its exercise of the granted rights.

tive Mortgage Company, and that he has full power and authority

County Recorder , to act for said corporation in executing the
foregoing easement; and that the said E. Patrick Dargis , as such
attorney-in-fact acknowledged the execution of ,,said instrument
to be his voluntary act and deed and by him voluntarily executed.
