We, Charles Sondrol and Jean Sondrol , husband and wife;
Alden Harrison and Olive Harrison, husband and wife; Jack L.
McCann and Elsie Ann McCann, husband and wife; John A. Hemme
(a/k/a John Hemme) and Marsha Hemme, husband and wife; R & B
Development, a general partnership; and Don and Sons Body Shop,
Inc. , an Iowa corporation, in consideration of the sum of One
Dollar, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant
to the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its
successors and assigns, the perpetual right to construct,
reconstruct, maintain and use its electric lines, consisting of
poles , wires , overhead or underground cables , fixtures , anchors
and other similar equipment, or any part. thereof, upon,
underground, over or across the following-described real estate:
The West 5 feet of Lots 1 , 4 , and 5 ;
The North 5 feet of Lots 2 , 3 , 4 , and 5 ;
The East 5 feet of Lots 2 , 3 , 4 , and 5 ;
Five feet along the southerly boundary of Lot 4 ;
The perimeter 10 feet of Outlot 6 , except adjacent
to the Skunk River;
All areas east of Lot 3 and Lot 4, and
10 feet either side of a line described as follows :
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Outlot 6 ;
thence N83°22 ' 40"E, 549 . 95" feet to the point of
beginning; thence S16015 ' 05"E 484 . 3 feet to the
south line of Outlot 6 ,
all within Sondrol ' s Subdivision of the City of Ames, Iowa, for
the sole purpose of conveying electric current for power and
lighting purposes. We further grant to the City of Ames, Iowa,
iEGLAND, NEWBROUGH, the right to permit other utility companies to construct and, .

in the same manner, maintain its utility
facilities, jointly or severally, upon, underground, over or
across the real estate as described above.
We further grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal
corporation, its successors and assign's, the perpetual right to
construct, reconstruct, maintain .and use its underground storm
sewer system within the real estate described as follows :
10 feet either side of a line described as follows :
Beginning at a point 6. 78 feet west of the
southwest corner of Lot 5; thence N05°40 ' 24"W,
97 . 78 feet to a point 10 .89 feet west of the
northwest corner of Lot 5 ; thence continuing .
N05046 ' 74"W, a distance of 50 . 0 feet.
all within Sondrol ' s Subdivision of the City of Ames, Iowa.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express
condition the users of the granted rights will assume liability
for all damage to the hereinbefore described real estate and
adjoining real estate caused by failure to use due care in the
exercise of the granted rights .
