RESOLUTION NUMBER 00-143
ACCEPTING PLAT OF SOMERSET SUBDIVISION EIGHTH ADDITION,
AMES, STORY COUNTY,IOWA-
WHEREAS,there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,
a plat of real estate described as:
Lot 2 of Block 2 in Somerset Subdivision 5`h Addition, an Official
Plat, City of Ames, Story County, Iowa,
to be known as S OMERSET SUBDIVISION EIGHTH ADDITION AMES,STORY COUNTY,
IOWA, and
WHEREAS, the final plat has been reviewed by the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Ames,Iowa,the owner has complied with all relevant provisions of the
code of the City of Ames and the laws of the State of Iowa, and
WHEREAS,the owner of said real estate,Erben A.Hunziker,as Trustee of the Erben
A. Hunziker Revocable Trust dated July 28, 1992; Donald M. Furman and Ruth W. Furman, as
Trustees of the Revocable Trust dated March 1, 1991; and R. Friedrich& Sons,Inc. have executed

a written Consent and Dedication declaring that the platting is with its free consent and is in
accordance with its desires as proprietor, and
WHEREAS,it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames,Iowa,that the
plat should be approved,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the plat of SOMERSET SUBDIVISION EIGHTH ADDITION, AMES, STORY,
COUNTY, IOWA, be and it is hereby accepted and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the acts of Erben A.Hunziker, as Trustee
of the Erben A. Hunziker Revocable Trust dated July 28, 1992; Donald M. Furman and Ruth W.
Furman,as Trustees of the Revocable Trust dated March 1, 1991; and R.Friedrich&Sons,Inc., are
hereby confirmed and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, on this 11th
day of April , 2000.
