RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-414
ACCEPTING PLAT OF SOMERSET SUBDIVISION SEVENTH ADDITION,
AMES, STORY COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, a plat of real estate described as:
An official replat of Outlot M in Somerset Subdivision Third
Addition, an official replat; all now included in and forming a part
of the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa.
to be known as SOMERSET SUBDIVISION SEVENTH ADDITION AMES, STORY
COUNTY, IOWA, and
WHEREAS, the final plat has been reviewed by the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Ames, Iowa, the owner has complied with all relevant provisions of
the code of the City of Ames and the laws of the State of Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the owner of said real estate, Erben A. Hunziker, as Trustee of the
Erben A. Hunziker Revocable Trust dated July 28, 1992; Donald M. Furman and Ruth W.
Furman, as Trustees of the Revocable Trust dated March 1, 1991; and R. Friedrich & Sons, Inc.

have executed a written Consent and Dedication declaring that the platting is with its free consent
and is in accordance with its desires as proprietor, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that
the plat should be approved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, that the plat of SOMERSET SUBDIVISION SEVENTH ADDITION, AMES,
STORY, COUNTY, IOWA, be and it is hereby accepted and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the acts of Erben A. Hunziker, as
Trustee of the Erben A. Hunziker Revocable Trust dated July 28, 1992; Donald M. Furman and
Ruth W. Furman, as Trustees of the Revocable Trust dated March 1, 1991; and R. Friedrich &
Sons, Inc., are hereby confirmed and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the dedication of Lots A and B within said
street for public street services be and the same is hereby accepted for and on behalf of the City
of Ames, Iowa, and all acts of Erben A. Hunziker, as Trustee of the Erben A. Hunziker
Revocable Trust dated July 28, 1992; Donald M. Furman and Ruth W. Furman, as Trustees of
the Revocable Trust dated March 1, 1991; and R. Friedrich & Sons, Inc., are hereby confirmed
and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, on this 9th day of
November , 1999.

City Clerk, respectively, of the City of Ames, Iowa, do hereby certify that the above and
foregoing Resolution Number 99-414 is a true and accurate copy of said Resolution; that said
Resolution was duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, at a duly
convened meeting thereof on the 9th day of Nov , 1999:
