RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT --*Af,4
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That(I/we),Ames Housing Associates Limited Partnership (do/does) hereby grant unto the City of
Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon
the land described and the perpetual right to construct,reconstruct,clean up,operate,maintain, and
cover over and repair a utility easement upon, under, and across the land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
"A 10 foot wide General Utility easement across a portion of Lot 18, Prairie West, an official plat,
Ames, Story County, Iowa. Said easement being 5 feet on both sides of the following described
centerline:
Commencing at the SW corner of Lot 18, Prairie West, an official plat, Ames, Story County, Iowa,
said point being the SW corner of the SWY4 of the NWV4 of Section 34, Township 84 north, Range
24 west; thence north 00. 00'00" east, along the west line of said Lot 18, a distance of 615 feet, to
the point of beginning; thence south 72. 59' 10" east, a distance of 183.01 feet to a point on the east
line of said Lot 18, where said centerline terminates."
Containing 0.04 acres.
See attached plat marked and made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of Ames,Iowa,will assume
all liability for all damages to the above described property caused by the City's failure to use due
care in its exercise of the rights granted:
