ACCEPTING PLAT
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of
the City of Ames, Iowa, a plat of real estate described as:
A Replat of Lots Five (5) and Six (6) and a part of Lot
Four (4) and a part of Lot Seven (7) in Spencer's Second
Industrial Addition to Ames, Iowa, and of Lots Fifteen
(15) , Twenty (20) and Twenty-one (21) in Woodland Acres
Plat No. 2, Ames, Iowa, all in the Northeast Quarter (NE
1/4) of Section Twelve (12) , Township Eighty-three (83)

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Ames, Iowa, has recommended that the plat be approved, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said real estate, Dale Cooper
(also known as Dale R. Cooper) , an unmarried person, Everett S.
Freel and Marilyn A. Freel, husband and wife, Donald E. Barber and
Leanna K. Barber, husband and wife, George L. Jones and Joyce E.
Jones, husband and wife, Dave Devereaux (also known as David E.
Devereaux) and Cheryl A. Huss, husband and wife, and Shaffer Auto
Body Co. , Inc. , an Iowa corporation, have executed a written
Consent declaring that the platting is with their free consent and
is in accordance with their desires as proprietors, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the
City of Ames, Iowa, that the plat should be approved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Ames, Iowa, that the plat of PETE COOPER SUBDIVISION, AMES,
IOWA, be and it is hereby accepted and approved, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the dedication of the street
within said plat be and the same is hereby accepted for and on
behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and all the acts of Dale Cooper
(also known as Dale R. Cooper) , an unmarried person, Everett S.
Freel and Marilyn A. Freel, husband and wife, Donald E. Barber and
Leanna K. Barber, husband and wife, George L. Jones and Joyce E.
Jones, husband and wife, Dave Devereaux (also known as David E.
Devereaux) and Cheryl A. Huss, husband and wife, and Shaffer Auto
Body Co. , Inc. , an Iowa corporation, as Grantors in the premises,
are hereby confirmed and approved by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, on this 19th day of October
1993 .

Resolution Number 93-391 is a true and accurate copy of said
Resolution; that said Resolution was duly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, at a duly convened meeting
