SUBDIVISION SIDEWALK BOND
PARKVIEW HEIGHTS 19th SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, 66hstructon of sidewalks in the Parkview Heights 19th subdivison by the
subdivider is a condition for approval by the City of Ames of the plat of said sub-
division; .and ,
WHEREAS, it is desired that in accordance with customary building practice the
construction of a sidewalk pertaining to a lot in said subdivison not be done until
completion of a principal building on the lot so as to avoid destruction of the side-
walk by passage of heavy construction equipment and vehicles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT KNOWN
That Don Furman and Erb;-Hanziker personally and as principals , and, H & F, as
corporate surety, are hereby held and firmly bound as obligors unto the obligee City
of Ames , Iowa in the penal sum of $4,100.00 for the payment of which sum, well and
truly to be made, we do jointly and severally bind ourselves , our heirs , executors , succes-
sors and assigns hereby, this being a covenant to run with the land.
The condition of the above obligation is such that is all sidewalks required to be
constructed as a condition for approval of the plat of the aforesaid subdivision shall
be properly constructed in accordance with the standards and specifications of the City
of Ames Department of Public Works , with relation to each and every lot, then this
obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
Nothing herein shall be deemed an impediment to a resolution of necessity and
assessment for a sidewalk with respect to lots in the said subdivision.

Erb Hunziker to be personally known, who being by me duly sworn, did say that
they are the PG;aPnt and gecr t ,_y respectively, of said corporation; (that no
seal has been procured by said corporation)." That said instrument was signed on
behlaf of said corporation by authority of its Board of Directors , and that said
Don Furman and Erb Hunziker as such officers , acknowledge the execu-
tion of said instrument to be the voluntary act and deed of said corporation, by
it and by them voluntarily executed.
