^ 1 RESOLUTION NUMBER '6288 ACCEPTING PLAT AND STREETS LU
WHEREAS , there has been submitted to the City Council
of. Ames , Iowa, a plat designated as Orchard Village Second Addition
to Ames ; Iowa, the said plat involving land described as :
SEE ATTACHED SCHEDULE "A" ATTACHED
HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF CONTAINING
THE CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION.
WHEREAS , the said plat was submitted to the City
Planning Commission as required by law and the said City Planning
Commission has requested of this Council that said plat be accepted
and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, it now appears that the owners of the said
property- have met all conditions as required by law concerning the
platting of said addition, and
WHEREAS, the said Erben A. Hunziker and Margaret H.
Hunziker, husband and wife, Donald M. Furman and Ruth W. Furman,
husband and wife, own the above described real estate located
in -Ames , Story County, Iowa, and
WHEREAS , the said owners did on the 31st day of_
b�� 1972 , dedicate for public use as set forth
therein as streets a portion of said real estate contained in
Orchard Village .Second Addition to Ames , Iowa, the dimensions
of which are accurately shown on the plat of said subdivision,and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the
City of Ames , Iowa, that the dedication of said streets as con-
tained in said plat is proper and should be accepted by the
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of 'the City of Ames , Iowa, that the said plat of Orchard Village
Second Addition to Ames , Iowa, located on the real estate above
described be and it is hereby approved and the Mayor and the
City Clerk of 'Ames , Iowa, are hereby directed to certify this
Resolution and affix the same to the plat, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the dedication of the
streets contained in said addition be and the same are hereby
accepted for and on behalf of the City of Ames , Iowa, and all
acts and doings by the grantors in the premises are hereby con-
firmed and approved by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, on this 14th day of November 1972.

acting City Clerk of the City of Ames , Iowa, do hereby certify
that the above and foregoing Resolution Number 6288 is a true
and correct copy of the said Resolution and that the said Resolu-
tion was passed and adopted by the City Council at its regular
meeting thereof on the loth day of' November 1972•
