SUBJECT: Acceptance of streets and utilities in Northwood Plaza area.
BACKGROUND:
Early in 1983' development of an ecumenical housing project north of 30th
Street was started. The utilities were installed in 1983 and the street
paving in 1984. This area is a portion of the property designated as
Northwood Plaza Subdivision. The streets and utilities have been completed
in an acceptable manner and in accordance with the specifications of the
City.
As an indication of the City's support for the ecumenical housing project,
the engineering fees were waived for these construction' projects. The
engineering costs waived totaled $10,936.00.
MANAGER'S RECOMMENDED ACTION:
It is recommended by the City Manager that the City Council accept the con-
struction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, and streets that
have been constructed in conjunction with the ecumenical housing project
within Northwood Plaza Subdivision.
