WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, a plat of the land hereinafter de- scribed designated as "NORTHWOOD PLAZA FIRST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA. " WHEREAS, said plat has been submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission as required by law and has been returned to the City Council with the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission. WHEREAS, RANDALL'S INTERNATIONAL, INC. , a South Dakota Corporation, and NORTHWOOD PLAZA ASSOCIATES LP, a New Jersey Limited Partnership, as sole owners of said real estate, have executed and duly acknowledged an instrument consenting to said plat. WHEREAS, it now appears that said owners of said real estate have complied with all of the requirements of the laws of the State of Iowa and the platting ordinance of the City of Ames with respect to the platting of said real estate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Ames, Iowa, does hereby accept and approve the plat of NORTHWOOD PLAZA FIRST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA involving the real estate described as follows, to-wit: A part of the Northeast Quarter (NE1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) ; Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8) , except the West 60 feet thereof, in North Park Subdivision of the South Half (S1/2) of the South- east Quarter (SE1/4) ; and the vacated Frontage Road, lying East of Lots 7 and 8 , in North Park Subdivision; all in Section 27, Township 84North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M. , in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, all described as follows: "Commencing at the Northeast (NE) corner of the South Half (S1/2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section 27-T84N-R24W of the 5th P.M. , in the City of Ames , Story County , Iowa ; thence S89°0914011W, 70. 01 feet along the north line of the S1/2-SE1/4 of said Section 27, to the Point of Be- ginning; thence S00°24128"W, 632 .40 feet along the west line of Grand Avenue; thence S8901015511W, 666 . 41 feet along the north line of 30th Street; thence N00°0110011W, 958.85 feet along the east line of the West 60 feet of Lots 7 and 8, in North Park Subdivision, and that line extended North; thence PAGE��� d� S88°56100"E, 671,23 feet; thence South, 304 .46 feet along the west line of Grand Avenue and along a line parallel with and 70 feet West of the east line of the SE1/4, to the Point of Beginning.
