RESOLUTION APPROVING MAIN STREET CULTURAL DISTRICT
REQUEST TO WAIVE FEE FOR BLANKET VENDING LICENSE
FOR ART WALK
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Main Street Cultural District(MSCD) is hosting its 21 st annual Art Walk
on Friday, June 5, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate this event,the MSCD has requested Council approval for
waiver of the $50 Blanket Vending Permit fee; and,
WHEREAS,the Art Walk is a popular annual event that adds vitality to the Downtown,and
the event organizers have experience in hosting this and many other similar events throughout the
year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa,
that the waiver of the Blanket Vending License fee of$50 for the Art Walk on Friday,June 5,2015,
is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 28th day of April, 2015.
