RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY RAW WASTEWATER
PUMPING STATION PIPE REPAINTING PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA
WHEREAS, the Water and Pollution Control Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the Water Pollution Control Facility Raw Wastewater Pumping Station Pipe
Repainting Project for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated November 13,
2012,by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and L&P Painting of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Water Pollution Control Facility Raw Wastewater
Pumping Station Pipe Repainting Project has been fully completed by the Contractor in
accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $48,975.00.
Section 3. The amount due L&P Painting of Cedar Rapids,Iowa,is hereby ordered paid
as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 14th day of April, 2015.
