Carver Avenue (old R-50). By copy of this letter, the City will notify Firstar Bank of Ames that they may release the $79,695 to the Developers. The financial security related to the paving of G.W. Carver adjacent to Northridge Parl<Avav Subdivision, loth Addition. Since that lane addition is no longer going to be constructed, the security can be released. You also requested that paragraph 2a of the developer's agreement be voided since the widening is no longer going to be accomplished. That is true for the north-south portion of G. W. Carver Avenue, but not so for the east-west portion along the north side of the subdivision. Prior to the acceptance of a final plat that deals with land adjacent to the east-west portion of G.W. Carver Avenue, we will need to modify the developer's agreement to arrange for the financial security for the developers responsibility to pay for one-half of the extra lane on that portion of the roadway. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, Paul D. Wiegand, P.E. Public Worlcs Director PDW/dwj cc: Steven L.
